Kerrianne Cox
Kerrianne Cox is an Aboriginal singer from Beagle Bay in Western Australia. She has toured widely in Australia and abroad to the United States and South Africa, and she appeared in the musical Bran Nue Dae in 1996. She has received several awards and nominations, including a 1997 WAMi Award for Best Indigenous Artist of the Year and a 2001 Deadly Award for Best Female Artist (she was nominated for Best Emerging Artist in 1998 and for Best Female Artist in 1999, 2000, and 2001). Cox was NAIDOC Female Artist of the Year in 2000.
