Lucca-Tassignano Airport is a public airport near Lucca, in Capannori, about 5 km from the city center. It has IATA code LCV and ICAO code LIQL. Operated by Società Aeroporto di Capannori S.p.A., it serves Lucca, Italy. The airport sits at about 12 meters above sea level and has a single asphalt runway (10/28) 910 meters long. It is open daily from 9:00 to 19:00, except on Tuesdays.

The airport hosts a flying school and serves as a base for firefighting helicopters, including an Erickson S-64 and a Eurocopter AS350. It also offers AFIS, aircraft handling, storage and workshop services, plus a bar, a restaurant, taxi and car rental.

History: opened on 29 November 1932 as an airfield with support from the Province of Lucca. In 1935 the Royal Air Force took control and started a military flight school. During World War II German units and an aerial observation group were stationed there. After the war the area was used for parachute drops, while the southern part was reserved for aviation activity for local clubs. In 1961 it reopened to traffic, and in 1963 it was opened to national tourist traffic. In 1982 the operator became the Provincial Consortium Lucca Airport, with some land sold to the Italian Army. In 1997–1999 management changed to Lucca-Tassignano Airport Ltd, which became Airport Capannori SpA. A new terminal opened in 2012, and in 2013 landside upgrades included new parking and a 15 m control tower.
