Emre Guler
Emre Guler (born 19 January 1998) is a Turkish-Australian rugby league prop who plays for the St George Illawarra Dragons in the NRL. He was born in Sydney, is of Turkish descent, and stands 191 cm tall and weighs 112 kg. He played junior rugby for the Mascot Jets and represented NSW Under-20s and the Junior Kangaroos in 2017.
Guler made his NRL debut with the Canberra Raiders in 2018 and went on to play 93 games for Canberra through 2024, scoring 6 tries. He was part of Canberra’s run to the Grand Final in 2019, coming off the bench in the loss to the Sydney Roosters. He scored his first NRL try in Round 1 of the 2020 season in a win over the Gold Coast.
On the international stage, Guler played for Turkey in 2018 and appeared for the Prime Minister’s XIII in 2023. He signed with the St George Illawarra Dragons on 27 January 2025. In the 2025 season, he has played 17 games for the Dragons, who finished 15th.
