Čímice is a small village and municipality in the Klatovy District, Plzeň Region, Czech Republic. It has about 160 people (162 as of 2025). The area is 6.67 square kilometers, and the village sits about 480 meters above sea level. Čímice lies about 27 km southeast of Klatovy and 55 km south of Plzeň, in the Bohemian Forest Foothills. The highest point nearby is about 599 meters high. The village was first mentioned in 1543. In the past it was split into two parts that belonged to the Žichovice and Strakonice estates. There are no railways or major roads in the area. The main landmark is the Chapel of Saints Cyril and Methodius, built in 1862–1863. The name Čímice comes from the personal name Čím, meaning “the village of Čím’s people.”
