Salins-Fontaine is a small commune in southeastern France, in the Savoie department of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It was created on January 1, 2016 by merging the former communes of Salins-les-Thermes and Fontaine-le-Puits. The area is about 18.6 square kilometers, and its population was 941 in 2023. The mayor for 2020–2026 is Françoise Crousaz. The town is in the Albertville arrondissement and the Moûtiers canton, with postal code 73600. It observes Central European Time (UTC+1) and daylight saving time in summer.
