Ana Julaton
Ana Julaton, nicknamed "The Hurricane," is an American former boxer and mixed martial artist born on November 28, 1983, in San Francisco, California. She competed in boxing as a super bantamweight and in MMA as a flyweight, fighting in ONE Championship and Bellator before retiring in March 2018.
In boxing, Julaton became the first woman to win both the WBO Super Bantamweight title and the IBA Super Bantamweight title. Turning pro in 2007 under trainer Freddie Roach, she won the IBA title in 2009 against Kelsey Jeffries and captured the WBO title on December 4, 2009, by defeating Donna Biggers. She also challenged for the vacant WBA junior featherweight title in 2010.
In mixed martial arts, Julaton debuted in ONE Championship in 2014 with a third-round TKO win. She later competed in Bellator, including a split-decision loss to Lisa Blaine in 2017 and a unanimous decision loss to Heather Hardy in 2018. She retired from combat sports in March 2018 with an MMA record of 6 wins and 4 losses (2 by KO, 1 by decision win; 4 losses by decision). Julaton also holds black belts in Bok Fu and Taekwondo.
