Saint-Estève XIII Catalan
Saint-Estève XIII Catalan is a semi-professional rugby league team from Perpignan in southern France. It was founded in 2006 after the merger that created Catalans Dragons. The club is named after the two original local clubs, AS Saint-Estève and XIII Catalan, and acts as the reserve team for Catalans Dragons, competing in the French top league, Elite One Championship (also known as Super XIII).
They play at Stade Municipal, which holds about 6,000 spectators, and wear white, red, blue, and yellow—the colors of the original clubs. Saint-Estève XIII Catalan has won the French Cup four times and the league title once. In 2015 they moved from Stade Gilbert Brutus to the Stade Saint-Estève in the Saint-Estève district of Perpignan.
Today the club serves as a feeder team for Catalans Dragons, keeping a strong Perpignan presence in French rugby league.
