The SCCA Spec Racer Ford Pro Series was a United States sports car racing series run by SCCA Pro Racing. It used Spec Racer Ford cars, a simple, affordable closed-cockpit race car with a 1.9L Ford Escort engine and a five-speed transaxle.

Two main eras
- Original run: 1994–2002
- The series began in 1994 after Renault pulled out of the Spec Racer project. The first race was July 2, 1994 at the Des Moines Street Circuit, won by David Tenney.
- Early champions included Warren Stillwell, who won the 1994 and 1995 titles. The calendar was small at first but grew in the late 1990s, with large fields on street circuits and some dramatic races.
- Notable champions and moments: 1996 saw a huge field (55 entered) and James Goughary Jr. won the championship; 1997 saw Stillwell win again; 1998 title decided in the final round by John Strickler; 1999 saw Jack Willes win the championship with a tight battle for second going to James Goughary Jr.; 2000 Stillwell won again with Bobby Sak and John Black in the top three; 2001 Keith Scharf claimed his first title; 2002 Stillwell won again with several podiums.
- In 2003 the series was split into Atlantic and Pacific Tours and was canceled later that year.
- Revival years: 2010–2011
- The Pro Spec Racer Ford (and Pro Formula Enterprises) were revived in 2010 with a two-race format per weekend. The 2010 season started strong, with 57 drivers at Road Atlanta. Brian Schofield won the first race by a slim margin over Tray Ayres; Scott Rettich won the second race at Thunderbolt Raceway; Brainerd had a record-low grid with 12 starters.
- Scott Rettich won the 2010 Pro SRF title by five points over Tray Ayres. The 2011 season featured very uneven fields (as few as five cars at Road Atlanta and up to 21 at Trois-Rivières). Tray Ayres won the final Pro SRF race of the year, but Rettich still won the championship, his third Pro SRF title. Richard Spicer won four races that year but finished second in the standings.
- Five days after the final race of 2011, SCCA Pro Racing announced that the Pro Spec Racer Ford and Pro Formula Enterprises would not return in 2012, citing an economic environment that made the series unviable.

About the cars
- The Spec Racer Ford is an open-cockpit race car built by SCCA Enterprises.
- It uses a 1.9L Ford Escort engine (inline-4, single overhead cam, around 105 hp) in a tube-frame chassis with fiberglass bodywork.
- Power is delivered through a five-speed transaxle.

Champions
- Last drivers’ champion: Scott Rettich (2011)
- Last teams’ champion: Alliance Autosport (2011)

In short, the Spec Racer Ford Pro Series was a long-running, affordable stepping-stone in American motorsport, with two main runs (1994–2002 and 2010–2011) before it was discontinued again due to economic pressures.
