Sätra Nature Reserve
Sätra Nature Reserve (Swedish: Sätra naturreservat) is a protected area in northern Uppsala County, Sweden. It protects an old-growth spruce forest that has remained undisturbed since at least the 1860s. The forest hosts several orchids, including Cypripedium calceolus (lady’s slipper) and broad-leaved helleborine. The reserve is part of the Natura 2000 network of protected sites in the European Union.
