Chikuma Station

Chikuma Station is a train station in Chikuma city, Nagano Prefecture, Japan. It is on the Shinano Railway Line and operated by Shinano Railway. The station is 57.1 km from Karuizawa Station, the line’s starting point. It has two side platforms serving two tracks, connected by a footbridge. The station opened on 14 March 2009 and is staffed. In 2011, about 825 passengers used the station daily.
