Battle of Loma Alta
The Battle of Loma Alta took place on April 24, 1860, near Loma Alta in Zacatecas, Mexico. It was part of the Reform War, fought between liberal forces from San Luis Potosí and Zacatecas led by General José López Uraga and a conservative army commanded by General Romulo Díaz de la Vega. The liberals won, capturing Díaz de la Vega and his entire army. After the victory, San Luis Potosí prepared to advance toward the Bajío region.
