Ryohei Yamamoto
Ryohei Yamamoto, born December 30, 1974, in Kyoto, Japan, is a Japanese R&B singer also known as Ryohei. He started his recording career with Warner Music Japan and released his debut single Almost There in 2003, after appearing on Fantastic Plastic Machine’s Why Not? in 2002.
His 2004 album Take Over came out on Warner Music Japan. In 2006 he shortened his stage name to Ryohei and moved to Rhythm Zone. He’s well known for collaborating with m-flo on songs like Miss You and Summer Time Love. He was very popular on iTunes Japan for a time, with the track So Fly reaching No. 1.
His last release as a singer was in 2007. Since then he has written songs for other artists, including Koda Kumi.
