Rosa sits in central Blount County along U.S. Route 231, and its southeast edge borders the city of Oneonta. US-231 runs through Rosa, linking it to Oneonta (about 4 miles southeast), Cleveland (about 3 miles to the west), and Huntsville (about 60 miles north).
