Nadia Hasnaoui is a Moroccan-born Norwegian television presenter and journalist. She was born on June 10, 1963, in Morocco to a Norwegian mother and a Moroccan father. Her grandfather was Ragnar Frisch, a Nobel Prize–winning economist. When she was four, her parents divorced and she moved to Norway with her mother. In Oslo she attended a French kindergarten and a French school, and she became a Norwegian citizen at 18. She married actor Kim Haugen in 1991 and they have three children.

In the 1980s she worked as a dancer at Den Nationale Scene. She then worked for TV2 from 1993 to 2004, hosting shows such as God morgen, Norge and Jakten på det gode liv. In 2003 she hosted a show named Hasnaoui. In 2004 she joined the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK), presenting Kvitt eller dobbelt and various Eurovision-related programs. She speaks English, French, Italian and Norwegian.

Hasnaoui first connected with Eurovision in 1992, providing the NRK radio commentary for the contest. In 2004 she hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Lillehammer. She has also hosted festivals like Melodi Grand Prix Junior. In 2005 she did the Norwegian commentary for the 50th anniversary Eurovision special with Jahn Teigen. She presented the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Bærum, together with Haddy Jatou N’jie and Erik Solbakken. She read the Norwegian votes in 2011 and 2012.
