Ros bratel
Ros bratel is a traditional Algerian tagine dish served hot. It’s made with fresh fava beans, olive oil, salt and spices such as coriander, and is commonly served with couscous. It is often eaten on Shabbat. Today it is popular among Jewish communities in Israel and France. Ros bratel originated thousands of years ago among Algerian Jews in Constantine, Algeria, and remained there until their expulsion in the 1960s.
