Victor Krummenacher
Victor Krummenacher (born April 7, 1965) is an American bass guitarist and guitarist from Riverside, California. He helped found Camper Van Beethoven and also started other projects like Monks of Doom and The Third Mind. Over more than 30 years, he has played with bands such as Eyelids, Two Heads, and Camper Van Chadbourne, and he has recorded with Cracker, M. Ward, The Illustrious Ancestors, Pat Thomas' Mushroom, and McCabe and Mrs. Miller (a duo with Alison Faith Levy).
Krummenacher has had a long solo career since 1994; his tenth solo album, Silver Smoke of Dreams, was released in 2021. He lives in Portland, Oregon. Beyond music, he has worked as an art director for the San Francisco Bay Guardian and Wired, and now does freelance art direction for print, digital, and video. His music covers rock, southern rock, blues, and world styles.
