Ronnie Ortiz-Magro
Ronald J. Ortiz-Magro Jr. (born December 4, 1985) is an American TV personality known for being a main cast member on Jersey Shore and later Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. He was born in the Bronx, New York, and he is of Puerto Rican and Italian descent. Before MTV, he worked in real estate for his father.
Ortiz-Magro joined Jersey Shore in 2009; the show ran until 2012. He also appeared in The Three Stooges (2012) and joined Famously Single in 2017.
He has had on-off relationships with Sammi Giancola (2009–2016), Jen Harley (2017–2019), and Saffire Matos (2020–2022). He and Giancola have a long history, and with Harley they share a daughter, Ariana Sky Magro, born April 2018.
In 2019 he entered rehab for alcohol and depression. He has faced legal troubles, including felony domestic violence arrests in October 2019 and April 2021 while on probation.
In May 2021, he said he was stepping back from Jersey Shore to focus on his mental health. He became engaged to Saffire Matos in June 2021, but the engagement was called off around June 2022. A Jersey Shore: Family Vacation episode said he won full custody of his daughter and moved to Miami to start a sneaker business.
