Ban Sahakon
Ban Sahakon (Thai: บ้านสหกรณ์) is a tambon (subdistrict) in Mae On District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. In 2018, about 3,365 people lived there. The subdistrict was created on May 1, 1978, by splitting seven villages from Rong Wua Daeng, On Nuea, and Huai Kaeo.
Ban Sahakon is divided into eight villages (muban) and is governed by the Ban Sahakon Subdistrict Administrative Organization (องค์การบริหารส่วนตำบลบ้านสหกรณ์). The area is known for Mae On Weavers, a group of about 100 weavers who make hand-knitted products sold under Thailand's One Tambon One Product (OTOP) program.
