Roeselare railway station is in Belgium on line 66, the Bruges–Kortrijk line. It is the terminal station for two old lines that are no longer in use (line 64 Ypres–Roeselare and line 65 Roeselare–Menen–French frontier). The station is within walking distance of the city centre.

Trains stop here about every 15 minutes: local L-trains to Bruges and Kortrijk, and intercity IC trains to Bruges–Ostend and to Kortrijk–Lille or Brussels. Outside, there is a bus station with many platforms for town and regional buses.

The station has a large yellow roof over the platforms. There are 3 tracks and 2 platforms. Upstairs are some offices; downstairs is the ticket office and shops. The old signal station Bloc 10 used to control railway traffic.

Access to the platforms is by stairs, escalators or a lift.

The station was built in 1976–1979 with a raised track to replace several level crossings. In 2007, the town and partners began a modernization project costing 35 million euros. The work continued beyond 2012 and finished in 2018, with an underground car park and a new bus station added. The renovation turned the station into a hub for transferring within the town.

There are plans (Neptunusplan) to improve service to Ghent by building a new junction near Gits, which could also allow faster services via Kortrijk.
