Roberto Pangaro (born 6 July 1950 in Trieste) is a former Italian freestyle swimmer. He was 1.90 m tall and weighed 87 kg during his career. Pangaro competed for Italy at the 1972 and 1976 Olympic Games in several 100 m and 200 m freestyle events, and he reached the final of the 4×200 m freestyle relay in 1976. He won medals with the Italian 4×100 m freestyle relay team: bronze at the 1975 World Championships in Cali and silver at the 1977 European Championships in Jönköping. He also swam in the Mediterranean Games, participating in 1971 in Smyrna (now Izmir) and in 1975 in Algiers, in events including 4×200 m freestyle, 4×100 m freestyle, and individual 100 m and 200 m freestyle.
