Daral Pugh
Daral James Pugh (born 5 June 1961) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is currently head of academy coaching at Sheffield Wednesday.
Born in Crynant, Wales, Pugh is 5 ft 8 in tall. He played for Doncaster Rovers (1977–1982), Huddersfield Town (1982–1985), Rotherham United (1985–1988), Cambridge United on loan (1988), Torquay United (1988–1990), and Bridlington Town. He also represented Wales at the under-21 level, earning two caps.
After retiring from playing, Pugh moved into coaching and development. He served as Wakefield District Council Football Development Officer and later held roles at Leeds United as under-18s coach and then assistant academy manager, leaving in 2010. He became head of youth at Bury in July 2011, then head of academy coaching at Hull City in October 2013. He returned to Leeds United in August 2015 as head of academy coaching. On 24 February 2017, he was appointed interim lead professional development phase coach at Rotherham United.
