Robert and Michelle King
Robert King (born 1959) and Michelle King (born 1962) are an American husband-and-wife team of TV writers and producers. They created and run The Good Wife (2009–2016), its spin-off The Good Fight (2017–2022), and the new Elsbeth (2024–present), as well as the horror-drama Evil (2019–2024). They founded their own company, King Size Productions. Before turning to TV, Robert wrote several films, and the couple also created the short-lived In Justice in 2006. They met in 1983 and married in 1987; they have a daughter named Sophia. Robert is Catholic and often attends Mass with The Good Fight star Christine Baranski. The Kings were nominated for a Writers Guild of America Award for Best New Series for The Good Wife.
