Ritu Beri
Ritu Beri (born May 3, 1972, in New Delhi) is an Indian fashion designer and advisor. She led the prêt‑à‑porter line at the French fashion house Jean‑Louis Scherrer around 2000–2002. She founded The Luxury League to promote creativity in India’s luxury industry and serves as an advisor to the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) under the Indian government, as well as to Rishihood University. Beri married exporter Bobby Chadha in 2004; her father is Balbir Singh Beri, a former army officer, and her mother, Indu Beri, is an entrepreneur. She has received international honors, including the Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres from France in 2010 and the Lady of the Order of Civil Merit from Spain. In 2016 she published two books: The Designs of A Restless Mind and The Fire of A Restless Mind.
