Hideroku Hara
Hideroku Hara, born in 1956, is a Japanese legal scholar and professor emeritus at Shiga University. He earned a PhD in Law from Waseda University in 2002 for his work on the legal theory of distributing synergistic effects from mergers. He also holds a Master of Laws from Hitotsubashi University and a Bachelor of Commerce. His research covers commercial law, corporate law, and securities. He began his career as an assistant professor at Nagoya University of Commerce & Business, later becoming an associate professor and then a full professor at Shiga University. In 2020, he was named professor emeritus by Shiga University.
