Rickreall is a small, unincorporated community in Polk County, Oregon. It is part of the Salem metropolitan area and is treated as a census-designated place for statistical purposes. The community covers about 0.17 square miles of land and had a population of 76 in 2020. It sits about 213 feet above sea level, and Rickreall Creek runs along its southern edge.

The Rickreall Post Office has a long history. It began in 1851 under the name "Rickreal" with Nathaniel Ford as postmaster, closed in 1857, and was reestablished in 1866 as "Rickreall." The office has operated since then. During the Civil War, locals sometimes called the place "Dixie" because of Southern sympathies, but that was never the official name.

The area is all land, with no bodies of water inside the CDP.

In 2000, there were 57 residents in 26 households. The community was mostly White, with a range of ages and modest incomes.

Historically, the Jefferson Institute was founded nearby in 1846, and Rickreall had two elementary schools: Oak Grove Elementary and Rickreall Elementary. Rickreall Elementary closed in 2003, with students moved to Whitworth Elementary in Dallas. The church that leased the Rickreall Elementary building ended the lease in 2007. Oak Grove Elementary closed in 2005.

Water service for the area is provided by the Rickreall Community Water Association, serving about 525 homes, 64 businesses, and 2 schools.
