Cindy Lee is the performance and songwriting project of Canadian musician Patrick Flegel, who used to be the guitarist and singer in the band Women. Based in Calgary, Alberta, Cindy Lee blends pop, rock and experimental sounds, and Flegel often performs cross-dressed on stage with a rotating group of supporting musicians.

After Women broke up in 2010, Flegel released the Nightstalker EP with Morgan Cook in the project Androgynous Mind (2012). Cindy Lee then evolved, with Flegel recording most material solo but performing with changing collaborators. Early releases included the Tatlashea demo (2012), the full-lengths Act of Tenderness and Malenkost (2015), and the compilation Model Express (2018). What's Tonight to Eternity? (2020) is the best-known Cindy Lee album and was longlisted for the Polaris Music Prize; Cat O' Nine Tails followed in 2020. In 2024, Cindy Lee released Diamond Jubilee, a triple album that received strong reviews and was shortlisted for Polaris. The album was initially released digitally through Realistik Studios and YouTube, with a CD/vinyl release planned for 2025 via Superior Viaduct's W.25th imprint.

Flegel has collaborated with Freak Heat Waves (including the 2023 single In a Moment Divine) and has performed with them live. He has also worked with Moon Diagrams and Panda Bear, and with Deerhunter’s Moses Archuleta. These collaborations influenced his work on Diamond Jubilee and other projects.
