Chadds Ford is a census-designated place in Pennsylvania, located in both Delaware and Chester counties. It includes the communities of Chadds Ford and Chadds Ford Knoll and was first listed as a CDP before the 2020 census. The Brandywine Creek runs through the center, forming the boundary between Pennsbury and Birmingham townships, and later the boundary between Chester and Delaware counties.

The village of Chadds Ford sits at the junction of U.S. Route 1 and Pennsylvania Route 100. U.S. Route 1 leads about 12 miles east-northeast to Media and 7 miles west-southwest to Kennett Square. Route 100 goes north about 8 miles to West Chester and south about 10 miles to Wilmington, Delaware.

The center of Chadds Ford is the Chadds Ford Historic District, on the National Register of Historic Places. The Battle of Brandywine occurred here during the American Revolutionary War. The area was home to painter N. C. Wyeth and the Brandywine School of artists.
