Rhinoleptus
Rhinoleptus koniagui, also known as Villiers's blind snake, is an extremely small West African snake in the Leptotyphlopidae family. It is the only species in the genus Rhinoleptus and has no recognized subspecies. The species is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN.
Rhinoleptus koniagui lives in Senegal and Guinea (including Youkounkoun in Guinea). Its natural habitats are forest and savanna from sea level up to about 450 meters (1,480 feet) in elevation. It reproduces by laying eggs (oviparous).
