Bilaspur–Pune Express
The Bilaspur–Pune Superfast Express is a weekly long-distance train operated by the South East Central Railway zone. It runs between Bilaspur Junction (BSP) in Chhattisgarh and Pune Junction (PUNE) in Maharashtra, covering about 1,302 km in roughly 22 hours.
Trains: 12849 Bilaspur to Pune and 12850 Pune to Bilaspur. Stops: 17.
Classes: AC 1st, AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper, and General. It has seating and sleeping arrangements, onboard catering, and large windows.
Notes: The train uses modern coaches and has an average speed of about 59 km/h (max coach speed around 110 km/h). It is hauled by a Bhilai-based WAP-7 locomotive from Bilaspur to Daund Junction, then by a Bhusawal-based WAP-4 to Pune. The rake is shared with the Bilaspur–Chennai Central Superfast Express, and the journey includes one reversal of direction.
