Reutlingen is an electoral district for the German Bundestag in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It covers the Reutlingen district and elects one member by first-past-the-post voting. The current district number is 289. Created for the 1949 federal election, it has about 287,000 residents (2019) and around 199,000 eligible voters (2021). The main towns are Reutlingen, Metzingen and Pfullingen, and the area covers 1,092.5 square kilometers. Since 2013, the district has been represented by Michael Donth of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), who was re-elected in 2017, 2021 and 2025. The CDU has held the seat for most of its history, with the SPD winning it only for the first term (1949–1953). Since 1980, the district’s borders have matched the Reutlingen district.
