Jeion Ward
Jeion Antonia Ward (born January 6, 1954) is a Democratic member of the Virginia House of Delegates, serving since 2004. She represents Hampton, first in the 92nd district (2004–2024) and then in the 87th district (2024–present). Ward is a middle school teacher by profession. She lives in Hampton, Virginia, and studied at Thomas Nelson Community College and Christopher Newport University. She is married to James A. Ward, Sr., and they have three children: James Jr., Jason, and Jeremy. Ward serves as chair of the Labor and Commerce Committee and sits on the Transportation, Communications, Technology and Innovation, and Rules committees. Born in Newport News, Virginia, Ward is a member of the Democratic Party.
