Luna Takamura
Luna Takamura, also known as Runa Takamura (高村ルナ), was a Japanese-German singer, actress, and dancer. She was born on September 18, 1952, in Kobe, Japan, and died on March 6, 2004, in Honolulu, Hawaii, at age 51. She performed in J-pop and was active from 1970 to 2004. Takamura started her career in the pop group Golden Half, which broke up in 1974. She identified as ainoko (mixed Japanese and German) and preferred that term over hāfu. In 1975 she released a solo album, Tenshi no Asa (Angel’s Morning), on Nippon Crown. In 1976 she became known for two erotic films from the studio Nikkatsu: Cloistered Nun: Runa’s Confession, in which she played the title role, and Runa’s Confession: “Men Crawling All Over Me,” a semi-autobiographical story about her pop career.
