Léo Silva (footballer, born 2003)
Leonardo de Almeida Silva, commonly known as Léo Silva, is a Brazilian footballer born on January 18, 2003, in São Paulo. He is 1.71 meters tall and plays as a defensive midfielder for Operário Ferroviário, wearing number 22.
Léo Silva came through the São Paulo FC youth system (2016–2023) and made his professional debut on May 25, 2022, in the Copa Sudamericana against Ayacucho, where he played as a right back even though his usual position is in midfield.
He had few opportunities with São Paulo’s first team and was loaned to CRB in 2023 (3 appearances) and to Volta Redonda in 2024 (11 appearances).
In January 2025, after his contract with São Paulo ended, he signed with Paraná Clube and played 10 matches. In July 2025, he joined Operário Ferroviário, following a recommendation from Alex, his São Paulo under-20 coach. As of December 17, 2025, he has made 6 appearances for Operário.
