Regina Asamoah
Regina Asamoah is a Ghanaian journalist, gender activist, and advocate. She founded Missing Children Ghana, a nonprofit that helps rescue and reunite missing children with their families and works to improve protections for children.
She has worked with Atinka TV, reporting on social issues that affect children and women. Through her journalism, she has raised awareness about child trafficking and the plight of missing children in Ghana.
In 2019, Regina won the Ghana Journalist Association’s Best Female Journalist of the Year Award for her work.
Her Missing Children Initiative, launched in 2019, has helped reunite more than 300 missing children with their families and advocates for better rules and support to protect children in Ghana.
