Western Monmouthshire (also known as the Western Division of the County of Monmouth) was a county constituency in Monmouthshire, Wales. It returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons. Created for the 1885 general election by the Redistribution of Seats Act 1885, it was abolished for the 1918 general election. The seat consisted of the Sessional Division of Bedwellty, excluding the Parishes of Bedwas and Mynyddislwyn. When it was abolished in 1918, its area was divided between three new constituencies: Abertillery, Bedwellty and Ebbw Vale. For the planned 1915 general election, parties had begun selecting candidates by July 1914.
