Razed in Black is an electronic music project from Ewa Beach, Hawaii, formed in 1994 by Romell Regulacion. He handles vocals, rhythm guitar, and keyboards. On stage, he’s joined by drummer Ivan Delaforce and lead guitarist Phil Guerrero. The group later moved from Hawaii to Jacksonville, Florida.

Their sound blends electro-industrial, industrial rock, synthpop, dark wave, gothic rock, and hardcore techno. It’s mainly an underground act, but their songs have appeared on TV shows like Homicide: Life on the Street, in films, and in video games. Regulacion also releases music under the names DJ RIB, DJ Skooby, and Transmutator. Transmutator leans toward techno and hard electro, while Razed in Black focuses on darker, lyric-driven songs with a stronger pop/rock influence. They have released records on Cleopatra Records and other labels such as Hypnotic and Underground, Inc. Current members are Romell Regulacion, Ivan Delaforce, and Phil Guerrero; past members include Chris Nelson and Raj Kapololu. Their website is razedinblack.net.
