Rati Samkurashvili, born December 19, 1977 in Chiatura, Georgia, is a Georgian politician with the United National Movement. He served in Georgia’s Parliament during the VI (2004–2008) and VII (2008–2012) convocations and was deputy chairman of the National Movement’s parliamentary faction. He is a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. He studied history at Tbilisi State University, earning a BA in 1998 and an MA in 2000, and worked as a postgraduate in political science (2000–2003). He also studied at the Council of Europe School of Political Studies (2012–2014). He joined the United National Movement in 2001 and served as regional deputy chairman from 2001 to 2003.
