Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District

Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District is in Zamkan District of Salas-e Babajani County, Kermanshah province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Mirabad. The district includes 40 villages, with Mirabad being the largest at 966 people.

Population changes:
- 2006: 6,998 people in 1,495 households (then known as Zamkan Rural District in the Central District)
- 2011: 6,213 people in 1,466 households
- 2016: 5,070 people in 1,301 households

In 2019, the rural district became part of the newly formed Zamkan District and was renamed Zamkan-e Jonubi Rural District.
