Rasim Abushev
Rasim Fərzi oğlu Abuşev (born 15 October 1963 in Baku) is a retired Azerbaijani footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He began his senior career with Ganclik Baku in 1985 and later played for Neftchi Baku, FK Qarabağ, Dynamo Stavropol, Zhemchuzhina Budyonnovsk, FC Kavkaztransgaz, and Khazar Lankaran. Across his club career he made 404 appearances and scored 49 goals. Abuşev earned 40 caps for Azerbaijan from 1993 to 1999, scoring 3 goals. He made his national team debut on 25 May 1993 against Georgia and scored his first international goal on 22 March 1997 against Turkmenistan.
