Ramsay Gilderdale
Ramsay Gilderdale, born Ramsey Wilson Gilderdale on 5 August 1962 in Wakefield, England, is an English actor and writer. He is best known for playing Guy of Gisbourne in the BBC children's comedy Maid Marian and Her Merry Men, which aired from 1990 to 1994. He has also appeared in Rumpole of the Bailey and Blackadder’s Christmas Carol. As a writer, he contributed to Barbara and ChuckleVision and worked as a storyliner on the Cuthbert Lilly sketches for ZZZap!. He directs Modicasa, an Italian company that handles sales, holiday rentals and property management around Modica in southern Sicily. Gilderdale studied at the University of Nottingham, where he was active in the Student Drama Society and performed in The Changeling.
