Anröchte is a municipality in the Soest district in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It lies about 13 km south of Lippstadt and 15 km east of Soest. The town covers 73.79 square kilometers and sits at about 197 meters above sea level. As of December 31, 2023, it had 10,397 residents, with a population density of around 141 people per square kilometer. The postal code is 59609, and the dialing codes are 02947 and 02927. The vehicle registration code is SOW. The mayor is Alfred Schmidt, an independent, serving the 2020–2025 term. Since the 1975 local government reforms, Anröchte comprises 10 districts.
