Susan Greenbaum

Susan D. Greenbaum is emerita professor of anthropology at the University of Florida. She earned her B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Kansas, which also houses a collection of her papers. Greenbaum is known for her research on Afro-Cubans in Tampa and for studies on poverty. Her notable books include More Than Black: Afro-Cubans in Tampa and Blaming the Poor, a study of Daniel Patrick Moynihan's report The Negro Family and its long-term effects. She gave an oral history interview in 2001.
