Pyros (TV series)
Pyros is a Canadian reality TV series that follows the Montreal-based fireworks company Groupe Fiatlux-Ampleman (GFA) as they travel to places like Canada (for Canada Day), Mexico, the United Kingdom, Congo, France, Germany, and the United States (for July 4) to stage large firework displays. The show first aired on the Discovery Channel (Canada) on April 24, 2012, and ran for two seasons (16 episodes) until 2013. It has been shown in more than 120 countries, including The Weather Channel in the United States and Discovery Channel in other regions. In 2013, Pyros received two Canadian Screen Award nominations: Best Documentary Program or Series and Best Sound in an Information/Documentary Program or Series for the episode "Blame it on Rio."
