Sabakoe is a small Amerindian hamlet in Para District, Suriname, near Zanderij. It lies in the savannah along Sabakoe Creek, about an hour’s walk from Berlijn. Coordinates: 5.42306° N, 55.19083° W. Time zone: UTC-3 (ART). The name Sabakoe is also the Surinamese name for little blue herons, which is used as the logo of Surinam Airways. In 1904 it was described as a tiny hamlet, and as of 2022 it is not listed as an official Amerindian settlement.
