Punto 40 is a Spanish-language reggaeton track by Rauw Alejandro and Baby Rasta from Rauw’s 2022 album Saturno. Released on September 22, 2022, it is the album’s second single. The song lasts 3 minutes 10 seconds and blends reggaeton with electronic elements. It’s a remake of the classic reggaeton song Tengo Una Punto 40 by Baby Rasta & Gringo. It was written by Rauw Alejandro and DJ Playero, with production by Alejandro, Kenobi, Mr. NaisGai, and DJ Playero.

The lyrics describe a man who has a .40 gun and hints at using it on his partner. Critics praised the track for pushing reggaeton in a harder, more modern direction. It received several award nominations, including Best Collaboration – Pop/Urban at the 2023 Latin American Music Awards, and Rolling Stone ranked it among 2022’s best songs.

Commercially, it did well: it reached number one in Central America, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua, and hit the top five in Colombia and Spain. In the United States, it peaked at number 11 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, topped the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, and reached number 4 on Latin Airplay. It also appeared on the Billboard Global 200, peaking at number 72. It earned multiple certifications, including 14× Platinum (Latin) in the US, double Platinum in Spain, and Platinum+ Gold in Mexico.

An official futuristic video, Punto 40 Año 2077, was released on September 24, 2022, directed by Jora Frantzis, featuring space imagery and Baby Rasta as a wingman. The video was nominated for Video of the Year at the 2023 Premios Tu Música Urbano. Rauw performed Punto 40 at the 2022 Latin Grammy Awards, and the song is part of the Saturno World Tour setlist.
