Terry K. Morrison is an American politician from Maine. A Democrat, he served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2008 to 2016, representing the 122nd district centered on South Portland. Born in Boothbay Harbor, he grew up there, moved to Portland as a teenager, and graduated from Portland High School. He studied business at Husson College in Bangor and later worked as a restaurant manager in South Portland. Morrison has been active in politics, serving as vice chair of the Cumberland County Democratic Committee and working with EqualityMaine. He first ran for public office in 2008 to replace term-limited Larry Bliss in the 122nd District. He faced Republican Brian Durham in the general election and won 67% to 33%, taking office in December 2008. He was re-elected in 2010, 2012, and 2014. He could not run again in 2016 due to term limits. Morrison is openly gay.
