Province of Apulia and Calabria

Apulia and Calabria (Latin: Apulia et Calabria) was a Late Roman province in southern Italy. It covered areas that are now part of the Apulia region, and in Roman times Calabria referred to the Salento area (distinct from Bruttium, which is roughly today’s Calabria). The capital was Canusium, today known as Canosa di Puglia.
