Pristilepis oligolepis, the spinyface soldier, is a species of soldierfish living around reefs in the Indian and Pacific Oceans. It can be found at depths of 14 to 220 meters and grows up to about 30 centimeters long. This is the only species in its genus, Pristilepis, and it belongs to the Holocentridae family in the order Beryciformes. The IUCN conservation status is Least Concern. It was formerly known as Holotrachys oligolepis.
