Kingunge Ngombale–Mwiru
Kingunge Ngombale–Mwiru (May 30, 1930 – February 2, 2018) was a Tanzanian politician and a leader in TANU, the party that became CCM. He served as a nominated Member of Parliament from 2000 to July 16, 2010, appointed by Presidents Benjamin Mkapa and Jakaya Kikwete. He was Minister of State in the President's Office for Political and Public Affairs from January 2006 to February 2008 under President Kikwete.
Ngombale–Mwiru was a CCM member from 1977 until 2015, when he left the party after several years in a leadership role. He was known for not being religious, though he respected all faiths, and he took oaths for government positions using the Tanzanian Constitution instead of a Bible or Quran.
He was married to Peras Kingunge and had two children, Kinjekitile Kingunge and Martin Ngombale. He lived in Tanzania.
