1968 TANFL season
The 1968 Tasmanian Australian National Football League season was held in Hobart, Tasmania. It ran from 6 April to 21 September 1968, with four finals to finish in late September and early October.
Six teams competed:
- Clarence Kangaroos
- Glenorchy Magpies
- Hobart Tigers
- New Norfolk Eagles
- North Hobart Robins
- Sandy Bay Seagulls
Premiers: New Norfolk
Minor premiers: New Norfolk (their 4th minor premiership)
Matches and attendance: 64 matches were played, with a total attendance of 277,769, averaging about 4,340 spectators per match.
The season also featured Jubilee Shield games on selected Saturdays throughout the year.
